Sometimes, I make something that I like so much that it's hard to sell. This is one of those!
 
Mixed Media - laser engraved / acrylic paint

I started with a beauitul slab of natural basswood. I engraved the jester art into the wood with a laser engraver, then painted everything besides the jester. I wanted him to keep the spirit of the tree alive in this piece. I sealed the entire front and sides with several layers of triple thick glaze so it's ultra shiny!
